Samsung dryer not connecting to smartthings

WebI recently purchased a Samsung washer/dryer that is supposed to work with SmartThings. WiFi dongle is installed on both units and WiFi strength is full in the location of the units. No matter what I do I can’t get the units to connect through SmartThings making them just primitive washer/dryer.
